The Challenge.

The International dessert distributor approached Fotofire to help bring their brand up to date, as well as providing a state of the art website that will raise them above their competitors.

They have been well established in the food industry for more than 30 years, producing some the highest quality desserts on the market. They needed an image to match their products!

Brand Evolution.

The original branding has been evolved, bringing the image up to date with a contemporary look while maintaining the core elements that make the brand mark recognisable.

Certain elements of the logo have been taken away to make it less distracting and more clinical. The edges of the lettering have also been stripped back and rounded for a much more modern look.

The original colour scheme didn’t reflect the industry , so we brought it up-to-date with our fresh, ‘Sidoli Plum’.

A Step in the Right Direction.

The old site was unattractive, hard to use and had very limited functionality. We needed to make sure that the new site was a reflection of the quality products that Sidoli produce.

During the planning phase, the brief was to make the site playful but at the same time portraying a high end feel. We made sure that we paid homage to the history of the company, and highlighted the family ethos that is naturally installed at Sidoli. Although the website is not E-commerce, current and potential buyers needed to have the ability to browse the full catalogue of products, which has now been made seamless.

Say Cheese... Cake.

As part of the new image for Sidoli, high quality product photography was a must! The photography took place at our onsite studio, so that we could work our creative magic on them and make them look as eye-catching as possible.

We created some imaginative and beautifully staged shots, using props and serving suggestions to bring the products to life. The images emphasis the fun yet professional theme of the site, and portray the mouth-watering cakes in a great light.

A Sweet Result.

Our challenge was that our branding is very much part of the company’s heritage and status, and it was key that we did not lose this completely throughout the process.
