Mailchimp Goes Fully Mobile Responsive

If you're one of the 3 million people who use Mailchimp, you'll probably be interested to hear about the changes they're making to their service.

After listening to customer feedback, Mailchimp have taken all of their research and used it to give the service a bit of a makeover. The all-new version of Mailchimp launches on the 17th June, and here's what you can expect from it:

Responsive Design

Mailchimp have recognised that more and more people are accessing the internet through their mobile phones or tablets, so they're introducing a responsive design that's been optimised for on-the-go use, allowing users to get work done from wherever they are.

Simpler Navigation and Profiles

Some improvements have also been made to the navigation – notifications will now be displayed within the navigation, so users won't miss out on any important information about your campaigns. Switching to Pro Mode means you'll get a more simplified layout, and you can also collapse or expand menus on the iPhone to create more space when needed. Users can now also search for subscriber details, lists, reports and campaigns from anywhere within the Mailchimp app.

The layout and functionality of subscriber profiles has also been improved. By scrolling horizontally, you can reveal all of your feeds and hide columns that you don't need to see, which leaves more room for the stuff that matters.

Easier To Collaborate

For companies that have a large team working on their email campaigns, the new MailChimp makes it easier for bigger groups to work together. Users can now exchange feedback inside the editor, view comments in real time and reply when ready.

The new look will be available to trial from next week, but all users will be switched over on July 15th. Check out the MailChimp blog to see some video previews or to find out more info on the new look.
