It’s our birthday!

Happy Sweet 16th, Fotofire!

On October 19th 2000, Fotofire was born. And we’ve come a long way since our first inception as events photographers back in the early noughties.

What started out as just a man with a cam, is now a multi-disciplined, close-knit team of designers, developers, photographers and marketing pros, working on big projects and even bigger dreams.

We’re so proud of all we’ve achieved over the years, and more importantly, the strength of our team. So what better way to celebrate our birthday than by taking a trip down memory lane and looking back at some of our team’s fondest Fotofire memories.

Cheers everyone!

Our highlights…

Phil Jackson – Managing Director

“The highlight for me has been the mission of growing and developing our talented team. Although fun, it’s certainly been extremely challenging. Finding a dream team always is! We have a fantastic core of team members and I’m extremely excited and motivated about the next 16 years. We have implemented lots of change in terms of our own systems and processes over the past 12 months and I am looking forward to the continued results that we achieve for our customers as they continue to grow. I would like to personally thank the whole team for their continued efforts in helping Fotofire to develop and grow into what it is today and I would also like to thank all of our valued customers for their continued support.

Leah Jackson – Business Development Manager

“Moving to our new office has been a highlight of mine. It was a very exciting time for us and meant we had more space for growth and hosting clients, and convenient parking for the team – it’s the little things that make a difference. We also got to construct our onsite photo studio, too, which is really impressive. It’s great seeing the look on clients’ faces when they come to shoot with us and see our studio. It makes all the late nights and hard work so worth it”.

Oli Morgan – Senior Designer

“One of the highlights of my career at Fotofire has been designing for Wales Rugby League. Using their private box at Wrexham Racecourse wasn’t too bad either!”

Mirain Williams – Junior Designer

“Since joining Fotofire I’ve been challenged in so many ways both personally and professionally. Aside from having the chance to learn new design skills, I’ve taken part in so many new experiences that I never would have tried otherwise like clay pigeon shooting (I hated it) and filming in ZipWorld caverns (so scary!)”.

Alex Bryan – Account Manager

“Clay Pigeon Shooting was ace. It was nice to do something that was out of our comfort zone together. Some were better than others but I am still proud to say I was actually pretty good ;)”.

Fran Heaton – Project Manager

“Beating Phil in a shoot off (almost)”.

Nakita Haland – Office Support Manager

“Almost missing the team “welcome” meal that was being held in my honour because my satnav took me to a random B-road in the middle of nowhere! To make matters worse, my phone had 2% battery and barely any signal, which made calling for help impossible. Some of the team thought I’d either been abducted or had had enough after only three days. What a great first impression”.
