We have been working with Chester Arts Fair since 2013 and we’re very excited to announce that their new website is now live!
Chester Arts Fair is a major annual event in the North West arts calendar. Since the Fair first opened in 2011, Chester Arts Fair has provided a supportive environment for art collectors of all levels and mediums. Since it’s launch it has grown considerably, now attracting many emerging & established UK & International artists who exhibit a varied selection of visual arts including paintings, sculpture, photography, illustration, glass, digital art, ceramics and much more.
Chester Arts Fair approached Fotofire to undertake a web re-design and development that reflects the fair’s current branding together with a platform that would showcase the originality of these artists and provide useful and easily accessible information about the fair and what it has to offer.
We were very excited to have the opportunity to revise their web presence to adhere to current web trends for style and also function.
The new website is created on a WordPress CMS platform, which provides an easy to use editing setup for the content so that the task of handling the artist’s application information can easily be processed. It also boasts a directory of artists that allows users to not only explore their work with ease, but also display their projects in a beautiful and creative design.
The new site has a new clean design and is fully responsive for different display sizes, a must for such an active website. With a large percentage of visitors accessing Chester Arts Fair content on-the-go, it was important that the new site was geared toward tablet and mobile users. We implemented a ‘fluid’ website design which provides a constant full width view of the content, which intelligently responds down to mobile devices.
Chester Arts Fair are delighted with the new website and have been very pleased to have a stylish setting on the web to showcase their talented exhibitors.
“Thank you for all your hard work to launch the new site. It looks fantastic and works well – we are all delighted with the result.”
